Oltremare, to discover the secrets of both Sea and Earth...
The Oltremare park was founded in Riccione in 2004 and is situated next to the famous aqua park Aquafan. Designed to suit the requirements of both adults and children, the park aims at surprising visitors giving curious information concerning our Planet and the seas which lap it. The protagonist of Oltremare is our natural environment to be discovered through an unforgettable itinerary for people who decide to spend their holidays in Riccione or in the nearby beaches situated along the Adriatic Coast.
Among the most renowned attractions is the Lagoon of the dolphins, a wide lagoon which hosts 11 bottlenose dolphins which twice a day perform funny evolutions and acrobatics. Another appreciated attraction is the dome of Hippocampus, populated by sea horses, needlefish, leaf dragons and other curious animals.
The Earth is represented by funny poultry which run about in the farm, as well as by the so-called Owl mill, which hosts birds of prey, as well as other terrestrial habitats. The Oltremare park is equipped with every kind of service and provides refreshment points and both multilingual guides and recorded guides; large groups can enjoy special discounts and children under 5 years are granted free access.

IMAX, cinema as you have never seen before...
IMAX, a large cinema equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, is a brand new attraction situated next to the Oltremare park and Aquafan, on the hills of Riccione. The IMAX cinema was designed to make film screening the most possible spectacular through a giant 600-square-metre-large screen where exciting clips are projected in order to show unknown places, such as the infinite space or the most mysterious territories of our planet, from the ridges of the Everest to the depths of the sea.
Projections are carried out all the year round, both during the day and at night and even school trips are welcomed. The equipment of the IMAX cinema have been designed to involve visitors through the use of both 3D and 4D technologies. The screen, the film, the cinecamera, the projector and the sound effects have been designed to provide high definition notwithstanding the extra-large size of the screen.
The IMAX houses can host up to 499 people and the facility is provided with a shop selling souvenirs and refreshment points to suit the visitors' needs.
