Fiabilandia, an everlasting tale
Fiabilandia is the most ancient funfair along the Adriatic Coast; it was designed to host children and therefore boasts safe attractions to suit the needs of the whole family. It extends for more than 150.000 square metres and hosts more than 30 attractions, as well as live shows, entertainment, services and refreshment booths. The Park of Fiabilandia develops around Lake Bernardo, a wide green area where, during the hot season, many species of birds nest. The lake can be crossed on board of the Fiaby Boat ferry, while the small train Fiabilandia Express leads visitors across the park.
The most renowned attraction in Fiabilandia is the Castle of Merlin the Wizard. Among the most appreciated attractions are the wide playground dedicated to the wild west, provided with attractions such as Apache Village, Navaho village, Fort Laramie and the fast rollercoaster of the Goldmine. A stop at the Saloon will give visitors the possibility to attend funny theme shows and to have a meal based on the recipes from the wild west.
Among the brand new attractions, some involve fresh bathing, the perfect solution to alleviate the suffocating summer heat. Children can dive into the Sea of the frogs, a pond-shaped swimming pool surrounded by beach mattresses for parents. Other attractions involve water, such as the Bay of Peter Pan and the "sprinkling battle" from the shuttles of Captain Nemo Adventure. The park also hosts educational exhibitions, such as the one dedicated to the origins of human beings, The dawn of the Man, or the interesting Path of the sweet-smelling plants. To visit Fiabilandia together with the whole family is an unforgettable experience for people who spend their holidays in Rimini.
