Have fun!
The summer in Rimini revolves not only around beaches and discos; the numerous theme parks situated in the Province of Rimini give visitors the possibility to have fun and to relax. Starting from the 60s, the Riviera Romagnola has become rich in funfairs and theme parks which have been built inside green areas in order to become natural fun oases.
The first funfair to be founded was Fiabilandia, a large playground situated on the small plain surrounding Lake Bernardo, between Rimini and Riccione, designed to host children and families with safe attractions and educational exhibitions.
Another historic park to be visited along the Adriatic Coast, in the province of Rimini, is Italia in Miniatura (Miniature Italy) in Viserba, a scale rebuilding of the Italian Peninsula provided with funny attractions for both adults and children which surround the miniatures of the most famous Italian and European monuments.
The green hill of Riccione, situated few kilometres far from the city centre, hosts three important tourist meccas which attract visitors from all over the world. Next to the famous Aquafan, the most famous aquapark in Europe, are the Oltremare park and the IMAX cinema.

Oltremare is a funny and educational virtual journey across the Earth and the underwater world which places great attention over the fauna and flora which populate the Adriatic Sea and the Riviera Romagnola.
The IMAX cinema is a brand new attraction which makes use of state-of-the-art technologies in order to provide both 3D and 4D projections. Documentaries combine spectacularity with educational aims.
The Park Le Navi, the water bearer of Cattolica, where biologists work to protect dying marine species, is completely dedicated to the sea which is the main resort of the Adriatic Coast. To look at the biologists in order to understand the importance of their job is one of the activities the water bearer proposes its visitors; there are also other funny and educational attractions which allow visitors to discover the mysterious and wonderful secrets cherished by the depths of the sea and the creatures which populate it.
