Tennis The Riviera offers visitors many possibilities to play tennis together with their friends. Milano Marittima and Cervia are the ideal destinations for tennis lovers thanks to their high concentration of clubs, red clay courts and tennis courses. For people who want to combine their passion with a holiday, there are summer centres which provide special courses for both children and adults to train under the supervision of tennis experts. The Adriatic Coast hosts several national and international tennis tournaments. Not to be missed are the International Tennis Tournament of San Marino, which every August attracts both tennis lovers and curious people on the top of Mount Titano, and the CEISA Cup, the International Women's Tennis Tournament in Rimini.
Football and five-a-side football Among the most appreciated sport activities, the Adriatic Coast offers visitors the possibilty to play football thanks to its wide variety of football pitches or small fields to be rented to play with friends. Children under 14 can take advantage of special courses which are organized in many areas along the Riviera to let trainers and important teams know young promising football players.

Basketball This sport has been greatly appreciated in the Romagna region during the last twenty years because of the presence of great teams and champions. Courses for young people are organized in every city along the Riviera and it is not difficult to find equipped courts to play basketball. During summer, basketball lovers gather near the beach: this is the period of summer competitions which last up to the end of the bathing season. Volleyball Along the Adriatic Coast this sport is very appreciated by children too who learn it at school. There are numerous fields and both women's and men's teams. Two teams from Emilia Romagna achieved good results in the men's national championships, the Volleyball Modena and the Volleyball Piacenza; here played some of the champions of the Italian National Team of Volleyball.
Golf Golf lovers know the Golf Circuit situated along the Adriatic Coast, 6 9- and 18-hole courses between Ferrara and Rimini, real itineraries which have been designed to suit the needs of expert golfers and which are available 365 days a year. Even beginners can take advantage of different greens situated in the Emilia Romagna region.
