Cervia
Situated at the mouth of the Channel of the Salt Pans, between the seaside resorts of Cervia and Milano Marittima, the entrance to the tourist harbour of Cervia is situated along the 300-metre-long canal harbour and the old basin which connects it with Marina di Cervia. The history of the city has been linked to the salt-pans since the Etruscan age.
