Christmas and New Year's Day in Rimini...
Both tradition and innovation, fun for every age group and the traditional warm hospitality from Romagna, as well as thousands of opportunities to spend both days and nights: this is the proposal by Rimini and its neighbourhoods to spend Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.
City centres offer spectacular illuminations, market stalls and theme shop windows; the famous shopping districts of Bellaria, Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica transform into colourful catwalks to meet people, buy presents, have a hot chocolate or a tasty appetizer.
The small and charming surrounding villages propose shows for children, Christmas markets, funny Santas and the fascination of Christmas and New Year's Day traditions.
Guests can visit the interesting Sand Crib, the largest and most appreciated in Italy, which every year is mounted on the beach in front of Piazzale Kennedy. A visit to the Sand Nativity is the right opportunity to admire the enchanting scenery of the beach of Rimini and the Adriatic Sea in winter.

At New Year's Day Rimini always hosts special guests and a large number of visitors. As in the previous years, "The coming year", the wonderful show rich in concerts which takes place in Piazzale Fellini, in the heart of Marina Centro, will be broadcast live by RAI and will attract large numbers of visitors.
After the fireworks guests can dance in the beautiful clubs in Rimini, Riccione and Bellaria and in the most renowned and exclusive discos situated on the hills, where they can meet people and run wild till dawn. The pubs and clubs situated along the Riviera Romagnola organize many parties, among which both private and theme parties.
People who do not want to miss the traditional New Year's Eve dinner will be spoilt for choice. The most famous discos in Rimini and Riccione and the traditional trattorias situated in the hinterland propose both meat and fish menus, both local products and exotic dishes cooked by international chefs.
Even at Epiphany guests will be spoilt for choice thanks to concerts, street markets, shows and entertainment for children.
