Easter in the province of Rimini
With the arrival of spring and Easter, the province of Rimini inaugurates a new season dedicated to tourism and fun with a wide range of captivating events designed to suit the needs of both Italian and foreign visitors.
Among these, the most famous Easter event which takes place on the beach of Rimini is Paganello, the international tournament of Beach Ultimate which involves about 1600 athlets coming from 27 countries and lasts 5 days. Beyond the outstanding frisbee acrobatics which is possible to admire on the beach during the competition, Paganello also hosts concerts, shows, happy hours and night parties.
Another interesting event which attracts young people in the same period is the Groove City in Bellaria Igea Marina. It takes place between Easter Saturday and Monday with concerts, exhibitions and dj sets taking place along the streets of the city centre to celebrate black music.

Not to be missed is the traditional cooking from Romagna which is rich in Easter specialities, a real temptation for people staying along the Adriatic Coast. The restaurants and trattorias in Rimini are able to meet even the most demanding requirements.
To experience something characteristic it is necessary to go to Poggio Berni at Easter Monday to take part in the "Festa d'la Ligaza", a popular festival where people eat and dance according to the local Easter tradition.
